My son (who has read all the books and was very excited for the movie) and I turned the movie off after 45 minutes in. I wish I could get that 45 minutes of my life back. Terrible depressing movie. Disrespectful kid who never even smiles at anyone who is trying to be nice to him. Extreme racism towards Russians. My son said it’s the worst movie he’s ever seen and nothing like the books. Disappointing all round.
