As someone who read this comic when it first came out, I have to say that it was a major disappointment. The writing was sloppy and full of plot holes, and the characters were inconsistent and unlikable. The whole thing felt like a cheap attempt at shock value, rather than a well-crafted story. The worst part about Secret Invasion was how it treated its male characters. Many of them were reduced to mere objects or pawns in the larger scheme of things, and some even died without any real purpose or impact on the overall narrative. It felt like a slap in the face to men everywhere, especially those who are fans of these comics.
