I’ve watched this so many times I’ve actually lost count. Every word is embedded in my memory for all time. It’s the most beautiful story I’ve ever had the extreme pleasure of viewing. Every character became real from the start. The people, characters, acting, writing, storylines, clothes, art is so luxurious and beautiful. It takes my breathe as I think of the family who became so very real to me. The following movie was appreciated and needed as I missed them, my new family, so very much. Please come back and give us another. We all need to know how Lord & Lady Grantham and all the family are. How is Lady Edith, who will always remain Lady Edith to me? How is Tom & little Sybil must be a young Lady and likely as beautiful as her Mother? Has Daisy married her Andy and do they live on the farm with Mr Mason & is Mrs Patmore there as well? How are the Bates? Their son must be beautiful like his parents. Please... they all are real to us. You made them our family and we feel the loss without them. We love them all so much. I miss Lady Mary & Barrow who you must love as he’s the little bad boy who has a heart that’s been broken in pieces all his life. He so needs love. Poor Lady Mary only sees her value as in her beauty but she knows in her heart that’s not the prize. She’s the frightened little girl who carried the pressure of Downton on her shoulders though only Carson could see...We must visit our family. Please, please bring them back to us. Cousin Violet has so much more to teach us. Cousin Lady Isabelle Merton needs to update us on the Hospital & Lord Merton. What a sweet surprise for them both. Please, come back to us. We love each of you. We’re your family & we love you.

Well worth your time. This movie keeps you thinking long after it ends. The acting is superb and there’s no wasted dialogue. Every detail is there for a reason so watch this carefully. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes to ‘be caught up in the world their watching’. It reminded me of the old days of Hitchcock. A mind bender for sure. You’ll add this one to your personal library. Don’t always believe the critiques. They’ve been wrong before! This is a masterpiece.

Regardless of the income level, most women have lived through a similar relationship or a close variation OR knows someone who has. It’s far from shallow but you’d have to have lived through or I should say survived a relationship with a true Narcissist (taker). The wife (giver) gave everything to the relationship and marriage only to have another step in to reap the rewards. The wife gave her best years and all her future dreams yet her husband is still considered “generous” as if to indicate a dollar figure can be placed on the years of dedication, exhaustion from mental-physical-emotional support and yes faith, hope and LOVE. Her husband was so shallow he didn’t even attempt to win her back after ALL the years she’d dedicated for their future. Her adult life years were lived in exhaustion in support of “their” dreams. This story is played out across the USA all the time. What would’ve happened to his life without her? He’d still be washing dishes? Likely so.
