I loved it until the last pages. The psychological power of the book was palpable right up to the very end when the reader was left hanging in speculation about "the rest of the story." The main character's fate is inexplicably dropped. The final explanation as to the "who and why" of the murder was very unrealistic, especially given the children's ages. I wish she'd rewrite the ending.....
