If 'Folklore' was a lyrical genius than 'Evermore' is the musical masterpiece.
Nothing better describes the glory and agony of being human than a Taylor Swift song. I did not expect any of the songs to sound like they do, frankly, i didn't know what to expect. She has never let me down. Such complex and intriguing tunes that makes you have phantom pang of missing someone before you ever meet them. A moment of appreciation for the sophistication of Taylor's music, like "Dang"? I'll listen to the very same song for the 13th time and figure out what she's trying to say in a lyric that I've only heard on the surface level the previous 12 times, however the 13th time makes the song hit me in a fresh perspective. over an over again.
The agony and frustration of 'champagne problems' is palpable, as is that of 'tolerate it.' Who allowed them to be so sad, like What the hell is going on?
She has penned some of this century's dizziest, most immediate pop songs but if you doubted Taylor Swift’s songwriting abilities, remember that she has already established song bridges as her brand. And Folklore and Evermore just included to her list of masterpieces.
Many solid bridges across her discography will narrate a story within seconds while mesmerizing the listeners until the end.
