Dimas Bima Sunyoto (임승우)

This is one of the very few Indonesian horror movies that are very good and not boring to watch. The movie truly does deliver quality horror and very eerie moments rather than just cheap jumpscares. It makes you feel terrified and disgust, screaming out of the sheer horror and to beg help for the unfortunate characters of the movie. I am still in awe because of how good this movie is. Indonesia does quite a lot of horror movies, but they usually use cheap effects and shallow stories with cheap jumpscares that makes the movie predictible, bland, and boring. But this (and a very few others) have gotten me to keep me on my toes. There were numerous moments where I was in horror but also happy because how good the horror quality of those scenes are. You could say that I'm proud of this movie as an Indonesian Horror Movie and that it should be the standard for all Indonesian horror movies to come. This movie deserves at least an 8.5 / 10 in my book.
