Overall, is a great game, if you enjoyed Breath Of The Wild, you will enjoy this game as it further develops game design and world traversal is that a much faster pace than it's predecessor. Decent story, good plot twist and call backs to previous titles, but I always wish Nintendo would do more to honor the series's more and show that in the current game. That as well as there is a lot of concepts that feel not fully developed, such as the sky islands, or the depths, a lot of it is empty and repetitive and seems like they could have had more. There is a lot of ways that this game unfortunately fell short, and I think part of that is living up to the reputation of Breath Of The Wild, and the impact on the gaming world that had was nigh impossible. That and Nintendo doubling down on aspects and functionality from the previous entry instead of pivoting and hearing fans or honoring the series lore or things like that. Or taking the time to fully develop some of the really cool concepts introduced with the sky Islands or the depths or providing more unique content as opposed to more repetitive filler content. The game does have a lot of good moments and is enjoyable to play, grind through, and farm, collect, fight enemies just as much if not more so than breath of the wild, I will say I miss the guardians though, and is definitely worth the time to play and experience. but if you are a true and deep Zelda fan you may well know that this game will fall short in some areas while still providing a unique experience and being a solid addition to the Zelda timeline whether or not it fits in that timeline anywhere. Arguably this game is more of a physics sandbox than a Zelda game take that for what you will but it is truth. That and Nintendo really should have not decided to not plan any DLC or further content to add to the game and leave it as is from launch without a master mode or anything like that. Would have been a huge opportunity for them to make a little more money from the game that they already made a lot of money from and would have given a lot of fans or could have given a lot of fans things they wanted that were not in the base game or at least done some things to fill in the spots that fell short in the game because as good as it is and as much content as there is there is a lot of ways it could have improved and done better and that saddens me to say as a Zelda fan.
