I'm well aware of the truthful events of WW II. But this alt version is completely bizarre and non believable. I watched every episode expecting some measure of historical truth but it revealed itself as nonsensical fluff that lent itself into (more nonsensical) science fiction. I compare this story line/film to `Fellini Satyicon'...zero merit or sense. Sure, many scenes of cruelty were abundant in both...but for what purpose ?
