A very poor attempt to replicate Dopesick, which was vastly more accurate than this garbage. First, the female investigator, Flowers, isn't even close to the actual U.S. Attorneys Rick Mountcastle and Randy Ramseyer. Edie Flower's description of John Brownlee is pretty idiotic. Save for some of the details regarding the finite details of Sackler's FDA's subversion, this is pretty much just a glitzy comedy based loosely on facts.
