It simply DIDN'T CONNECT AT ALL with the other 3 movies, specifically War of the planet of the apes, It didn't really make sense, and there are a lot of problems, 1. The girl is just a selfish person who thinks she's superior, and for some reason she has a gun at the end of the movie planing to kill The ape that helped her, and 2. All the apes now are weak there was literally no serious fighting and they just sing so some eagles fight for them, they got smarter but weaker, story was ok, the best character was probably the orangutan, I also don't know how the apes split into 2 groups because last time I checked they were 1 group when Caesar saved them and then he died, the whole movie doesn't show anything about "kingdom" that doesnt seem like a kingdom at all just a ship wreck and barriers around it, all it is is just a disgraceful little clan who have no knowledge and don't know how to fight and an antagonist who is knowledgeable but he was the goal of the movie not any kingdom just a movie about killing the antagonist and he wasnt even that evil or villian like at all he just wanted to make apes have more knowledge and evolve and get stronger, and he simply doesn't like humans that much, and I dont blame him because he was obviously right about everything, he isnt really a bad guy he was the only one to put respect on Caesars name and actually acknowledged him, unlike this goofy little homeless poor clan who know nothing of him and Noah thinking he has a right to continue Caesars legacy because now Caesars legacy is finished after the orangutan died basically He did not die in peace if Caesarwas there he would be so disappointedhe would probably kill himself or maybe even say i wish I never killed koba and let him live that how disgracefulthey were. Caesar is probably the reason that the movies were good, now that he is dead there isnt much to see, no fighting no strength they just run around and run away from their enemy all scared, instead of being brave like Caesar, he was smart nice and had a great character and was Also strong and could defend himself like a true strong ape and he showed mercy and had a good personality now the characters are weak and only smart for nothing and no knowledge of anything, and Noah is always saying the elders didn't teach him "everything" as if they taught him ANYTHING AT ALL significant or important. The Best and only good part of the film was maybe seeing Caesar at the start of the film although I dont understand the burning part they should of just buried him.
