Did not enjoy the movie as much as I’d hoped. The movie felt rushed and most scenes went by unexplained . The time line jumped so often and did not take time to tell us what was happening . I continuously had to google parts of the story because they left out so many pieces . We seen Whitney and jermaine singing then it jumps to they slept together . But it is confusing because they never even showed a conversation between the two. They showed Bobby meeting Whitney at the award show then the next minute they are in a full blown relationship. They do not tell us what happened in between. Since Bobby and Whitney’s relationship was a major part in her story it would have been nice to understand how it started . They never mentioned her in Cinderella and barely told the story about the bodyguard. Bobbi Kristina was born and in no time is already a child.The actress did not look like Bobbi at all but neither did any of the other actresses/actors . Whitney looked like brandy and Bobby tried so hard to act tough that it turned out corny . The only person that seemed even remotely close to the real person is Clive. This may seem like a good movie for people who are not die hard Whitney fans. But for her actual fans we can all agree that this was not good . I learned nothing new from this film. It provided only basic information that we already knew . In most biopics where someone ends up passing away we see the friend/families reactions on how they found out or where they were . We didn’t get any of that the movie switched to her ‘94 performance and then the movie ends. It is hard to portray someone like Whitney Houston but if it can’t be done right then it probably shouldn’t be done .
