Liz's call to write this book was born from a place of duty and desperation. Imagine for a moment the pain of refection she and her daughter must experience. And, now.... Being confronted with a Netflix special claiming to be written from your point of view, when in fact, you had not shared your life with these Netflix vultures.
There is that. Then, making the decision to share (from a place of force, basically) literally picks Liz and Molly up and brandishes them to the world.
Liz? Molly? I am so sorry. I feel and try to understand this pain. The vulnerable steps you took to tell us your story is sacred. The respect you pay to the families and the victims themselves is tender and apparent.
Liz, as a single mother trying to live and provide the kind life she had been indoctrinated into her since her childhood, only to have it all pulled out from underneath her. Her own father supporting Ted's interests over her and Molly's.
All I can say is, thank you, Liz. Thank you, Molly. And, I honestly pray and hope for nothing but peace and love to support and surround you.
As for the families and victims, both known and unknown. I also pray for you and weep with you. I hope that by hearing Liz and Molly's story you can find comfort and support.
