I loved it; A few inconsistencies but that’s to be expected. Some of the script was verbatim from the original and I loved it! Don’t wanna put any spoilers in my review but Halle Bailey was phenomenal and Melissa McCarthy truly outdid herself!🤩 I’m interested to hear the opinions of others since it didn’t score well-but I predict that number will increase after the weekend. Review from a kid at heart who would watch this movie on repeat when we used VCRs 😂 My older brother used to hide the tape from me because he was so sick of me hitting rewind and play! I have always loved the original; Ariel has always been my favorite Disney princess and I think Disney pulled through with this IRL remake!🧜🏽‍♀️💜
