First: The Sim looks stuning. Also the performance is really good compared to the other Simulators on the market (XPlane, Prepar3d)
BUT: Thats about it. At the moment (24.08.2020) this is more like an arcade console game with GTA V characteristics rather than a simulator.
The menu is very cluttered and optimized for XBOX and not of PC use. Especially when it comes to key and axis bindings it is an horrible user expirience...
Regarding flight dynamics: The smaller GA aircraft like the cessna 172, DA40 etc. are the closest to reality than the others (I fly commercially a business jet and also DA40 in my local flying club)
The citation for example is completely overpowered and on all aircraft the rudder is way to effective and also the other control surfaces are too sensetive especially in low airspeeds. None of the more complex aircraft has a working FMS. Its only a glimpse of what can be done - but this is where the hope for 3rd party addons like PMDG or Flight Sim Labs kicks in... Microsoft advertised the simulator with up to date nav cycles form Nav Blue. Although you can enter some waypoints in the GPS or FMS and fly a direct to them - you won't see them displayed correctly on the GPS or MFD. Another bug I found is in Innsbruck (LOWI) where the runway heading for 26 is 258 degrees and the localizer approach inbound course should be 255 degrees. However in this sim it is 261 degrees which is especially in Innsbruck a problem because of the mountains and MSA.
As mentioned before this is more like a game than a porper simulator - yet it has great potential to become a solid base for the future. What bothers me is the state in which it has been released (more like a BETA than a release version) and for the bigges package you pay 120€.
If anything changes I will add this to this review.
