This film could have been good if there had been more character development and didn’t go full horror ridiculous at the end. Making the young female one dimensional is acceptable, but the older Demi could have been so much more. I do applaud her on-display, nude performance (though she’s anything but the average 60 year old!) contrasted against the body perfect 20 year old. It ultimately fails to make the social and existential statement that it hints at in the beginning.

What a piece of crap! I have no idea why 3/5 of the people were killed. No one redeemed. Nothing redeeming.

People love it or hate it. I’m a big Viggo fan, so I am totally willing to go wherever he wants to take me. He is an artistic phenom and a rare Renaissance Man. Many folks have been brainwashed over the years to expect the formulaic western action flick. This ain’t that. For anyone interested in the art of cinema (or Art in general), I can’t imagine you’ll be disappointed.
