The Batman movie truly embodies what Gotham is and what no other movie got right. Robert played is part amazingly also taking on the cape crusader like no one else has. The true stand outs were catwoman and riddler. Both were played to perfection. The movie is a 3 hour mystery/detective film so don't expect anything else. If you only know batman off the Bale trilogy or other iterations id advice you to read some comics and truly understand who and what the batman is about. He is a dark detective under the mask trying to make a difference in his city early in his career in batman. Director Matt deserves 2 more movies as well as Robert. They gave us the ground lay out and now i can't wait for more. Hopefully we get a build up to Batman's most notorious rival the joker later down the line.
