I was so captivated by this movie in the beginning. I have always been a Justin fan since his Young and Restless days. I also was impressed with the actress portraying Rachel. Then the writers ruined the romance by fast forwarding the plot in the hotel scene. I thought “what is happening?” That should not have occurred, even though the audience did not see them in bed. Why not allow Rachel to break up with Allen? It was obvious that she was in love with Jake. I was really upset when the movie ended with Rachel simply standing across the street. No embrace, no dialogue. She never even told Jake she loved him too. Not to mention never meeting her birth Mom. Poor writing - did not know how to pull it all together.
