This film is very enjoyable, well cast, written and directed. Jude Hill as Buddy is amazing. Loved the parents, well played by Jamie Dorian and Catriona Balfe Loved it in black and white and it depicted working class life in 1968, although only” touched”on the real troubles. Very nostalgic. Very moving at the end when Granny (Judi Dench) has to say goodbye to all her family going to England for safety, and she has just lost her husband of fifty years too.
