Earlier with a friend of mine we tried to coin ideas. Provide Summaries of the kinds of Star Wars stories we'd create that could surpass the Acolyte. We discovered that making a Star Wars story is the Ultimate Literary challenge. The reason why most of the Pre-Disney Star Wars projects needed George Lucas' approval was because it's incredibly easy to get lost in the Lore of the Franchise AND Abuse or Ignore The Force, which is a pretty stupid Deus Ex Machina. The writing process is littered with these traps that George made by accident, and the reason for the franchise's success across all media is because he made sure NO ONE ELSE would fall for them.
But, with George Lucas Gone, were now seeing every single greenhorn film and story writer bloat the new Disney Cannon with every single mistake George protected his teams from.
Episode 3 of the Acolyte not only shows how hilariously bad the script writing is, and how much Toxic Woke Soup the Franchise has ingested. But it also portrays EVERY SINGLE THING THAT COULD GO WRONG WHEN WRITING A STAR WARS PROJECT. Bad Fight Setups/Choreography, Bad Representation of a Jedi's Physique and Philosophies, Bad Romantic Baits, Bad Origin Stories, Bad Costume Designs, Bad Script Writing, and a lack of restraint when using the Force.
