This is a powerfully insightful book about how life in America has been so difficult for so many. Allowing history to be a tool, this book can aid your appreciation and understanding of how life in America, for many, is not on a level playing field. This book is a wonderful beginning of an uncomfortable discussion about systemic racism, that simply needs to happen.
