Phenomenal movie!! Excellent cast. Excellent acting. I loved this movie. Very, very relevant. My daughter is a young black writer and we discuss this topic all the time. Tired of ghetto portrayals of black life. We don't all speak ebonics, know drug dealers, know someone in prison and constantly use the N word to degrade each other. Go see this movie!!!👏👏👏👏

I just love "dead celeb" movies and I've seen them all. When this movie ended, I wanted to clap and cry at the same time. Renee was excellent and she even sang the songs. Kudos!!! I was so impressed by the hard work that I know went into this. My daughter is an actress, so I know what a real feat this was. You have to get rid of yourself to totally embody someone else. When you watch a movie and forget that the person that you are watching is not actually the person that they are portraying, then you know that the actor has done a great job!!! Oscar worthy performance for sure!! Such a tortured life Judy led. So sad.
