Red chillies entertainment's first attempt in this genre, and they did pretty well! First season of Betaal has 4 episodes. A crisp and tight plot of a curse in a tribal mountain which gets unleashed by a militant squad while excavating the land for highway construction! The cast of the series does not disappoint in regards to their performances. Manjiri Pupal as Puniya, the local tribal lady, and Jeetendra Joshi as Mudhalvan, the greedy contractor, deserve a special recognition. The high point of the series is it's background score and set designing and the right touch of tribal elements. The low point can be considered as the portrayal of the zombies, which visually confuses us with the goblins from Lord of the rings! Considering everything, it's a really good watch, as it genuinely scares you at times and keep you involved with the story! Rating: 3/5 As end could have been little better!

Watchmen is not your regular DC or MCU superhero movie.. It's different! It's a slow paced film considering it's superhero genre. The director takes his time to unravel the plot and subplot one by one.. The film is situated in late 80s on an alternate earth, where world is under threat of nuclear war between USA and Russia! Dr. Manhattan is USA's only hope if country is attacked by it's enemy with the disastrous weapon.. In this mess, there's a death of a former Watchmen, The comedian. His almost retired superhero allies investigate the case on their own and while doing so reach to a point where their moral and sense of right and wrong is challenged!

Mritnyunjoy Mukharjee, a doctor gets jailed for shocking case of serial killings, his wife Sona sets out to prove his innocence by committing the same crime! Film holds itself nicely for first 20 mins and for it's climax, except for that it looks a very stretched out film in between for a total of 1hr 46m.. Director tried various elements to present this movie as a psycho thriller but he fails in the process! Jacqueline Fernandez, playing the lead role of wife, couldn't carry out the sole lead in the middle part of the film and lacks the acting and expression which is required for the film and character! Manoj Vajpayee as doctor and Mohit Raina as the investigating cop delivers a promising performances! It's a decent script, and if you can handle Jacqueline's poor acting and some weird unnecessary fights choreography, you can watch this one!
