Outside of the incredible CGI and James Earl Jones (the one and only Mufasa), this film’s monotone dialogue and lack luster voice overs, rob it of any semblance of personality.
I had the same issue with Aladdin. I really wish Disney would abandon these “live action” remakes and spend more time on the creativity that brought us the wonder of the original Disney Classics.
