We watch this movie and then we watched what was referred to as the "special effects" DVD that came with the 2 disc set -2nd. In my opinion the 2nd DVD elaborates and explains quite a bit of this movie and I was able to put pieces of the movie together a lot easier. We then watch the movie a second time and I changed my mind on the movie and what I think about it I'm sure a third time will also be as exciting. I feel there were many threads in this movie. False 1st moon landing. Which brings Stanley Kubrick into play for his special effects on 2001
