Easily my least favourite AC title so far. I play on PC with mouse and keyboard, which in fairness has never been a good thing in any AC release but in this one, oh hell. With wild camera angle swings for cinematic effect it becomes a game of luck to get Ezio to jump to the next foothold rather than crashing to his desynchronization below. The recruiting assassins mechanic is also broken beyond repair. 9 times out of ten the recruit will be killed before you even get close enough to see them, let alone rescue them. And then we have the suicidal citizens who throw themselves between you and the enemy guards in mid fight. Did you know that the assasins did not kill civilians? YES, You told me a million times already and had me desynched several times because idiots threw themselves on my sword or because the game engine and cinematic camera effects decided that I was more likely to try to attack a bystander than the fourteen enemy soldiers that had me surrounded. Four episodes done. Will I have the mental stamina to reach the end before four-finger death punching my monitor? The story is great as usual but you need the patience of an angel to get through it.
