Even though not what I expected from the title, that before I found that it was adapted from a novel; I'll commend that it teaches the negative effects of drug addiction. Also, I was so much uncomfortable with the use of syringe and excessive drug abuse. It was as if I could feel the pain they're going through in real sense. Really really intense I must say.

One of the best movies I've seen. This is my second time watching and I still find it touching and engaging. Breaking his wife out of prison may seem unlawful but it's a crazy thing a normal loving husband/father should attempt to do. Moreover, she didn't do it and the flawed law couldn't detect that. So I believe, assuming it happened in reality, it would be God's miraculous way of saving the wife and reuniting the family. It's realistic...God works in ways that may seem incomprehensible to humans.....I love this movie....I was moved by the character and the passion he (Russell) played out.....What we gonna do for love... we'll try everything but we'll never give up...peace
