SPOILER FREE REVIEW :) They don’t make romcoms like this these days 🥲 Now they’re shoving horrors like Business Proposal up our faces. RIP the golden romcom age. I admit though I didn’t finish it. I have a bad habit of abandoning kdrama romcoms when the leads get together cause I feel like what’s the point I already know it’s going to be happy ending yk ? This one is a must-watch for our romcom lovers, and for those not really into the genre, I recommend this after watching an intense drama (like thriller or those heart wrenching historical dramas), because it really is a feel good drama. I watched it a while ago so I don’t remember what I may have not liked about it? I think the pacing was slightly off though, I remember being irritated that they were leaving a certain part of the plot to the last minute (you know that underlying mystery in romcoms to keep you interested) But if you’re wondering whether you should watch it, wonder no more. If you die without watching this it’s on you lol.

I love Park Shin Hye, I do. But this drama has one of the clumsiest plots I’ve ever watched in a kdrama.This wouldn’t entirely be the script writers fault, shows about time travel are always difficult to wrap one’s head around. Example : Tenet, I was pausing every five minutes to try understand what was going on 💀 (Spoiler-ish ahead) But some loose ends were a little too much. For instance, if the main lead really was from the future what about those alien-like creatures that kept attacking humans ? What were they? That’s why I use the word clumsy, like the crew were so engrossed in the supernatural plot at the beginning that it became too much of a nuisance to rationalize at the end. Notwithstanding the general mystery of the end. I hate when the writer wants us to figure out the end for ourselves. Like just tell me what happened honestly. It makes me feel like I’ve watched the whole drama for nothing. If I wanted to pick my own ending I’d be playing a video game. Watch it if you really want but it really isn’t a must-watch yk ?
