The main character made the show absolutely unbearable to watch. All the constant close ups and slow pauses of just her zoomed in face made it a putrid experience. A sort of taste that lingered. It started off well but just became a cheesy show led by offred’s awful acting and facial expressions. Please save yourself and don’t expect a good show. Those who rate it highly have no taste and just are forcing themselves to agree with the group that say it’s good. The book is so much better and doesn’t have a distractingly unattractive main character on the screen the whole time. Her appearance made me uncomfortable. The last episode as well was actual horse ****! Like really that’s how they end commander fred? What a joke of a show. Stop trying to over empower the main character and keep the plot smooth. What a waste of time. I hope more people begin to realize this show is overrated. Do not watch.
