Julian Taylor

This has got to be the best book I read last year, not just within the Sci-Fi genre. The writing is lyrical, and each word seems to fall into place like some sort of 19th century Swiss clock. The stylistic premise took a few chapters to understand, but once I understood it, it worked magnificently. I loved the subtle shifts in tone from letter to letter, but don't want to spoil anything by saying more. I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
