Four episodes in and the only thing keeping me awake is wondering who she's going to kill. All the misty long shots and maundering just confirm the intensity of the question, why do I give a flying #### what happened or will happen to this cast of unlikeable and unbelievable characters?

Great acting from Michelle Keegan and Adeel Akhtar, the latter having the only witty and amusing lines, could not save this nonsense for me. The plot is predicated on the actions of Maya (Michelle Keegan) when she is piloting a UK attack helicopter in Afghanistan and destroys a pickup truck without clearance to engage. The idea that a pickup truck full of Taliban fighters would approach and attack some exposed UK forces on the ground, under the eyes of a helicopter that could kill them all in an instant is farcical.

This film makes you think. Timothy Spall and Sarita Choudhury portray an intriguing pair of characters who prove, however unlikely it may be, that it's never too late. A lament for a life unlived turns into a song of hope.
