I couldn't call this series intriguing, or too much of a story, other than it was obvious what was going to happen. I thought the characters were somewhat weak with their delivery.....and sadly, they get well paid for this. This series may well appeal to sixteen year olds who don't have too much imagination, who would readily believe anything fed to them or have little reading skills under their collective belts. If anyone enjoys a real thriller, please give this series a miss.

I read this book, "Who Killed Hanratty", when it was first published. I can remember this case in 1961 when I was twelve and thirteen; and living in England. It is an absorbing account by Paul Foot. My belief, from reading this book, is that James Hanratty was innocent of the murder that he was convicted of; and that the justice system can become flawed by events, statements and evidence surrounding the processes. It is a most worthwhile read. Geof James
