As excited as I was while buying this book, I have to say I am very disappointed by the unnecessary characters and jumping storylines in this book. Having read Hosseini's previous 2 books, my expectations were pretty high. Although the writing is actually brilliant, my heart kept asking for more warmth and attachment to the story, it made me impatient to turn the pages and to get to a part which would satisfy my emotions but every snippet ended abruptly. Sorry to say, it was not a good and gripping story like the others.
