Could have been condensed into an hour, it was too slow and quite boring in parts. It was harrowing to think that it was a true story but could have been much better if it had been shorter.

I haven't read the books but in my opinion, I thought this was a good film, a good story, and some good action. It is a family film and younger children will not be terrified or traumatised. Typical Disney family movie. I can recommend it.

If this film had been condensed in to an hour and a half it would have been fantastic, it dragged on in parts but if you have nothing to do it is worth watching. The characters are good and the storyline is good.

Fantastic modern-day Oliver Twist. Quite moving and poignant in parts. It is intelligent, intriguing and for me was a compulsive film to watch. Definitely worth watching.I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

A wonderful book ! Everyone should read this, you will look at life through different eyes and possibly be inspired. I loved this book and walked every step of the way in my mind. Make sure you have plenty of free time to read it as you will not be able to put it down, i read at bedtime and it was the cause of some bleary eyed mornings as i stayed awake too long in to the night unable to stop turning the pages. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
