Honestly, I hardly ever leave reviews on anything, but this anime deserved acknowledgment. When first choosing to watch this anime, I had no idea what to expect. It seemed to have multiple different themes; fantasy, slice of life, comedy, even supernatural activity. The plot is pretty complicated, but regardless, it is truly a masterpiece. In the beginning, things seem normal except for the claim that the world would end in 30 days. Everything at first is lighthearted and bright, then you are enlightened with Hina's past of how she became a God. The plot takes a dark twist that is very heartbreaking, and had me on the verge of tears. I won't lie, at times I was lost in the dialog of the characters that I was confused. Though ultimately, it is not an easy storyline to grasp. Therefore, I don't blame anyone who did not like or understand the anime. However, this anime is worth watching even if you read the reviews saying it isn't. I almost let the people determine my decision, but I'm glad I didn't. I enjoyed watching the anime so much, and I have no regrets.(plus it's only 12 episodes long so why not!) If you don't like it, then that's okay because everyone has a different perspective. Props to the creator, Jun Maeda and his amazing animation!
