As someone who grew up not having childhood friends due to frequent transfer of residence, this movie hit me hard. I know change is inevitable but they didn't have to do the ending like that. Imagine waking up 75 years later and all your childhood friends are already dead - worse, you didn't get the chance to say goodbye. I know there are too many holes in the film but I'm here for the feels.
