As a former 'bit player' in the "Cold War" for 40 years, Far Cr 2 is to me, more of a training exercise for "Special Forces". training exercise. The reality is reinforced by the lifelike characters, the buildings, the 24 hour time pattern & the changeable weather. The sounds as you creep through bushes, or your footsteps on different surfaces, whether grass, sand or macadam, railway tracks etc. The vehicles are genuine. The weaponry is realistic. The wildlife is visually excellent & the jungle sounds convincing. The paucity of 'head up prompts' which spoil other games are minimal. The background music is not inappropriate. After 10 years of playing this, now on a 55inch, 4k 'smart' TV via xBox, it is so lifelike that I can almost smell the buffalo dung! 10/10 to the Montreal team who made this. The saddest thing is that the civil war depicted is still ongoing in that part of central Africa.
