Loved this movie but if the producers/directors are reading, you should have had the main actor give her the bottle of soda!!!! Make a sequel...of course doing the obvious...her parents object, etc., etc. But then have him buy the formula and start the factory in his village where grandma lives. The old man sells the formula cheap to carry on in honor of his late wife. Have the main actor live on a small hobby farm, and have the actress become his business accountant and wife plus maybe have a side business account so her parents will be happy. She can tend the farm in the morning, nap in the afternoons, and keep books for Campa. Of course, show her wedding...done HER way and not her parents' way. You're welcome, haha. I just wrote your next movie. Put my name in the credits...Diane Roncone from Hampton Bays, NY : )

I am halfway through and have to force myself to keep reading, hoping it will get better. The smart four-year-old daughter...I'm sorry, but no child that age is going to go into a school library and state that there are no more Norman Mailer books to read...no matter how smart. My own daughter has an IQ of 143 and taught herself to read...but she was still only 4 years old, and worried more about homeless kittens than Mailer...and Mailer in an elementary school? And that dog that narrates... with his vocabulary of 500 words. I really dislike this. Women's rights issues, ok, but this is 2023, not 1960.
