At first, I did feel a bummer about the movie's ending but, come to think of it, that would have been the most logical and realistic way to finish the plot of the story. By all accounts, the development of the movie, from beginning to end, was satisfactory. The characterization was superb, especially for the main leads. What made the movie unforgettable is the choice of the music, the ballad, and the cinematography too. Just as in real life, we get to commit mistakes and misunderstandings, most especially in your first love. By the time you realize your mistake, it's too late to rectify everything. So you get to move on. In the case of the male lead's first love, it's quite unfortunate how her life turned out to be, until the end, although she did get to finish building her own house thanks to her first love.
