Its an interesting watch that holds you on to the seat till the end. The dialogues are abrupt sometimes - jumping from context A to B both unrelated. Due to more aspects like this, the film has a raw feel to it -reeking of an unfinished/immature product. Whats undeniable is one unexpected scene after the other throughout the film which leaves the audience in shock, disbelief, awe or disgust. Such scenes are unseen and unheard of in Indian cinema. Another undeniable aspect is strong acting by an established set of actors especially Ranbir. In my opinion, a film is a film: its imaginary and film makers have the freedom to express. Its an A rated film anyway so viewer discretion needs to be exercised. The film has nothing to do with its makers personal lives or opinions. A film need not always have a hero, a villain, a happy ending or a great moral message. Both Bollywood and its audience need to come out of it and Animal certainly helps that cause.
