A very poorely written game with shallow stealth mechanics. Arguably you may enjoy the gameplay, but considering a ridiculously short length that is fully driven by the plot where characters in the first 2 minutes of first 2 dialogues in the game perform full 180 on their approach is a great sign of z-movie level writing. Characters' motivations also make no sense, and while you may wager that games like Haunting Ground and Clock Tower didn't really put a whole lot behind their "stalkers" either, they rolled with it instead of acting extremely pretentiously and taking themselves more seriously than an anathomy book.

Midsommar is a terrible movie. It tells a basic by the numbers "weird cult in the woods" story you're seen a couple of times before, the characters are painfully archetypal and plot twists are way too obvious and predictable. That being said acting is very solid and it could be a relatively enjoyable film if only thanks to its beautiful set pieces but the problem is it feels like a 10 pages short story stretched into a 300 pages novel. This manifests in director's awful choice to reach for those artistic grapes and hold on almost literally every frame for minutes at a time. This is the most obvious near the end when about the final 30 minutes of the movie are (and I'm not joking) about 4 scenes showing about 4 minor events unfold. Every step is shown in painfully tedious slow motion, or camera just hangs slowly panning backwards to create a fake idea of motion that doesn't really exists. All of this makes Midsommar borderline unwatchable and terribly tedious and without a captivating plot it falls apart as soon as you realize what's going to happen and you will within the first 15 minutes thanks to aforementioned cliche characters. You'll know the bad guy as soon as he opens his mouth and when the entire movie relies on it, thats not a good sign.

Don't take this game for another Souls clone, its plain and simple nothing like it for both better and worse. Its biggest flaws are extremely basic battle system, monotonous game world, horribly boring and unmemorable bosses and because literally every weapon in the game scales the same there is no reason for exploration. On the other hand you have a beautiful art style, interesting characters, and a much more approachable entry into "hardcore" gaming territory. It can be finished under 10 hours without any grinding and unfortunately there is 0 reason to replay it, that being said if you just love exploring majestic landscapes Ashen can be something you fancy.

This is a b-movie that actually looks and feels like a cheaper big production one. Its fun, full of memorable characters and events and definitely worth a watch for any Crocodile Dandy fan who prefers a bit more machismo in his protagonists

Cthulhu Mansion claims to be inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft but in reality its just a silly mediocre flick about a vengeful ghost.

While definitely not a masterpiece its a really good twist on Jumaji-like scenario with a horror element to it. It build suspense really well and the characters and plot are very well written. Seeing legendary Barbara Crampton in a game master role is awesome and her delivery as a villain for (probably) the first time in her carreer is chilling to say the least. Visually movie plays a lot with neon colors probably playing homage to late 80s indie horror flicks and it looks great. A very well done independent film that any fan on unothrodox thriller will enjoy

Its bad. While ToM has much better visuals than Invasion and the plot is more compelling it also makes zero sense and the main villain has really no excuse to be so poorly written. There is quite a bit more action this time around but at the same time more quite worthless dialogue as well. Some of the original cast returned to do voice work, but can't say it makes this one worthwile

Invasion is a mess. From sloppy animation and very very bad plot to grimy visuals full of gray colors. It feels like and hour long cutscene in a subpar third person shooter that never quite manages to get its footing. Casper Van Deen character has been redesigned for whatever reason and made unrecognisable. The buildup is also way too long, there is just not enough action and character development goes nowhere, in other words - not recommended

The second entry in the series takes an entirely different approach compared to the first one. Its not an action movie even though there are some action scenes, but if you're looking for intense bug killing action you probably should move on to part 3 or animated movies. Its a rather straightforward horror film, and without giving any spoilers, I have to mention that its not the most original one but I found it quite enjoyable. In other words horror fans looking for a "stuck in a bunker" kind of movie will probably have some fun with it, but thats about it

From Dusk Till Dawn 3 is often forgotten entry in the series. All things considered its a prequel to the other two and takes place in wild west. There is a cool old school western atmosphere throughout and just like the first movie you don't see much vampire action until the second half of the film when all hell breaks loose. That being said the first part of it is a bit dragging but it builds characters well and you actually begin to learn some of their traits and care about them. Once vampires enter the scene though it gets super fun with all blood, gore and quality visual effects. Don't skip on this one and give it a watch, its really good
