Keifu Chan

Watched the movie last week here in Japan. As always the artwork from Shinkai is incredible. The story itself is actually quite simple but the underlying message in the film is very complex and deep. If you are able to understand it, it is an amazing, beautiful film. If you are just looking for an entertaining story, you will just be amazed with the animation, but maybe disappointed with the story. People who know Shinkai work will love it, people who just want to be entertained might not. Personally I thought the movie was great, and the artwork even better than "Your Name".
