Exactly how video game movies should go. Respected the “source material.” Not woke. Soundtrack/score was absolutely perfect. So many “Easter Eggs.” Now I just hope they don’t ruin it with a poorly executed sequel as a cash grab after the success of the original. If you aren’t familiar with the games (like these snooty/pretentious/self-important critics) you won’t enjoy this movie. Otherwise, it should be a nostalgia blast.
