I think it's the best Wonka movie so far. All the songs that are used are nostalgic and sweet like chocolate! Also the references to the other movies were great such as slug worth being the villain! from the original also the characters are all used perfectly each has a role to play it feels like all the characters are important and if you take one out the movie falls such as the umpa lumpa doing something I don't want to spoil! The comedy is childish but also surprising at times. the only downside is it can be predictable such as when Wonka is just given a room you can probably expect what happens but sometimes it catches you off guard with a giraffe. lastly if you want a serious movie look else were I mean it's Willy Wonka for god sake! overall it's great for children to watch and nostalgic for adults with simple villains with fun music and scenes that make you hungry.

it just as great as the best episodes of adventure time adding new elements while also adding to old elements (no pun intended) giving a backstory to Simon and explaining their multiverse, if you like Spider-Man across the spider verse go watch this! The animation is gorgeous the story is a tribute to what came before it and add in new and interesting characters seen before in new light!!!
