I have watched a number of Chinese series, and I am always nicely surprised when, the FL doesnt have a little girls voice, or a strident, hard, loud voice. FL in this series has the latter, which becomes very annoying, over time, watching the series. FL also comes across as a bit thick, so not sure what the attraction is, for the two men, that fall in love with her. I dont think she is a very good actress, as wasnt convinced of her character, nor cared what happened to her. I feel she let the other actors and the series down.

I was enjoying this series till I got to E6. The subtitles at times were little haphazard, and strange, but in E6, there are whole swathes of conversation with no sub titles, then one word like "okay." Very fustrating and disappointing for a non Chinese speaking viewer. Particularly when the conversation is so important in detective crime fighting.

A real gem. It had all the right amount of comedy and pathos, with a most wonderful cast of excellent actors. You very much get the feeling, that everyone enjoyed themselves making this series. Loved the way the audience went from siding with the leads, then cheering on their new romances, then back to cheering the leads, as each others love interest. This is the first time I have seen this ML, I was very impressed with his acting, and have become a fan. I have watched the FL in a number of series, and find her an absolute joy. Excellent series highly recommend.

I enjoyed this movie, watched it because of kim Seon Ho. I found the FL annoying and fustrating, never telling her Captain, Kim Seon Ho, why she was going behind his back, and what was going on, right through the whole series. Even though he supported her, against his own judgement. Everything had to be done her way, not listening to anyone else. There were inconsistencies for example, when the lights went out, why didnt she just use her phone light. Also didnt feel any chemistry between ML and FL. The other charactors, are trusted actors, from many dramas, and are a joy to watch.

I did not enjoy this series at all. I found the princess to be very annoying. When she was young, she was silly and reckless. As a grown woman she was suspicious of the prince, all the time. She never had trust, or faith, in him. Although he was the love of her life. Her reactions to him were always weird. He always seemed to be trying to keep her safe, or make it up to her, then apologise, because, she took everything the wrong way. I got to episode 19, and had enough of the angst. I got sick of the evil people winning all the time, and the good people, like the princess's father and her being stubborn and impotent. I have seen all the K period dramas and love them, not this one. First review I have ever written, as I feel disappointed and annoyed.
