Martial Arts meets Wild West. Inspired by the writings of Bruce Lee. Two of my least favourite genres. However, I thoroughly enjoyed Warrior. Set in 1870s San Francisco it tells a story from many sides. The Chinese immigrants of China town. Factions fighting over an opium war. Western style law enforcement caught up in a corrupted, political struggle. As tensions rise between Irish workers competing with cheaper Chinese labour. A campy, action, drama with an amazing cast. Thoroughly deserves a third season.
