Yes, this is my favorite program on TV. Through this program I have learned a lot about history, history I never learned in school. Anyone who is curious about their world, interested in where people come from and what their stories are, should watch this program. And of course, Henry Louis Gates Jr. presents material with the intelligence and empathy that makes this program such a success.

I think this series is delightful and fun to watch. I love the remodeling ideas and the designs. It's really nice that the program brings in other craftsmen into the show. I wish that Home Town (as well as other home make over programs) would not waste so much time with unnecessary stupid dialog and show more of the rooms that have been made over. I also wish the programs would show the yards. Is it possible to share with the audience the names of the paints or tiles you use in your remodels? That would be helpful. Thanks
