Rosalind Glazer

I love this book. I received it many years ago when I raised money for habitat for humanity and helped to build several homes in Oakland California. I was about to move cross country and wanted to leave the place I had called home better than I found it. In many ways the SF-Bay Area is still my home. This is a beautiful book about leave-taking and homecoming.

HIGHLY Recommended! I advise all of my students and families to use these wonderful cards as part of their preparation for B Mitzvah. There are many ways to use them creatively for a meaningful exploration of what it means to 'step up' as a Jewish young adult! Also great for those on a journey toward Jewish living whether from a limited Jewish background or from another tradition!
