I mostly write reviews when a movie is either really good or really bad. The Wild Robot is a heartwarming movie that tells the story of Roz, a robot who gets stranded on a remote island. What starts as a survival story quickly turns into a touching tale about friendship, understanding, and finding a place to belong. Roz begins as a machine, speaking in a stiff, robotic way. But as she interacts with the animals on the island and learns from them, she starts to change. Her voice becomes more natural and caring, showing how much she’s growing inside. Roz’s journey from a robot to a friend and even a protector is what makes this movie so special. The animation beautifully captures Roz’s transformation, making her feel more human with every step. By the end, Roz isn’t just a robot anymore—she’s a symbol of kindness and hope. The Wild Robot leaves you with a warm feeling, reminding us all of the power of connection and empathy. This is easily one of the best movies I’ve seen this year.
