Was the show enjoyable? Yes. Was it realistic? No. But we don’t watch TV for realism do we, it’s escapism. Although I do feel there is a middle ground between realistic and unrealistic and The Perfect Couple doesn’t get there. The Police interviews were awful, it’s like the Nantucket Police department are just completely inept and stumble across the murderer. I feel like the show spends 5 episode making Greer look evil, just to turn that narrative on its head. It just feels inconsistent, especially at the end when Greer decides she wants to be friends with Amelia despite there being no obvious chemistry between these characters, just seems so bizarre
