I for one appreciated the diverse casting of this film. I absolutrely adored the fact that Rodrick was a completely different ethnicity than the rest of the Heffley family. Such a progressive moving picture that I cannot wait to show my children, Vanjessica and Dunkers. It is SO important to display this family dynamic to children to show them that not everyone is white. I however DESPISED the fatphobia presented through the entire Beard-O family. I am NOT trying to teach lil Vanji and Dunky poo that fat people are lesser. I myself am plump, voluminous and paunchy. But the humor really had me giving my knee a good ol' slap! Diaper hands is by far my fav #meme! It was also a great learning experience, being a viewer of such a sensation. I absorbed many useful parenting techniques from the #supermom, Susan Heffley and their wonderful father figure, Frank. I now do not let Dunkaroo or Vanvan be in a one mile radius of any electronics because all they will do is get brain mush and slowly decrease in height and happiness.
